Series of paintings around Music. I defined a playlist and from each song, what it evoked, what I felt, I created a painting. The songs had common threads, mostly folk, blues and rock vibes, with an idea of evasion. A blend of poetry, a natural feeling, some authenticity and soft melancholy, sort of a magical realism. Therefore the tones used are mainly browns, ochres, blues and greens, and the textures mineral or organic. All this to dive into the illusion of a natural landscape.
